Sara Evans has only had the one goal in her life that she has always had: she wants to compose and sing in the country genre. "God has placed me on this earth to be the singer of my life," said Evans, as quoted by John Meroney of American Enterprise. "It is something I love doing most of all and I'm determined to do well." Furthermore, Evans wanted to succeed in bringing back the classic country music that was brought to life by the legendary artists like Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones and Patty Loveless, musicians Evans considered her greatest influencers. Evans had her first breakthrough in the early 1990s when hopeful country singers shifted to pop-friendly songs. The debut album she released in 1997, True Lies, was one of the best examples. However, despite the critical acclaim and a nomination from the Academy of Country Music in 1998 for the best female singer, True Lies made little impact. Evans is set to release her follow-up album on the market in 1999 No Place That Far was a result of her bowing to producers who pushed her to upgrade her collection. It was the moment she finally earned the recognition that she has had her heart set on since her childhood. Sara Evans was a born in Columbia Missouri on February 5, 1971. Sara Evans lived her first days of her life living with her family.
